Our son got this as a gift when he was seven and loves it. The night light headlights aren't very bright, but he loves turning them on. He enjoys having a radio in his room too. Can't really comment about the alarm as he's an early riser and never needs it.

I have had this scale for about 4 years now. It never has weighed accurately. I usually have to tip it upside down repeatedly until the "C" is displayed, then I have to step on it, step off and wait for the "C" to come up, then step on it. Still not accurate. I know this, because I have a 5 pound weight I put on it to see if it is accurate. It weighs it at 4.6, then 5.8, then 6.2, and so on.

If and when I can get it calibrated correctly, I don't dare touch, bump or move it because it throws the accuracy off again. It used to take several tries to get it accurate, but now, I can't get it to weigh correctly at all. It is also difficult to clean due to the little grooves in the plastic.

I have finally had it and am getting rid of it. I will never buy this brand again. I suggest not wasting your money either.

My husband bought me this pillow, as I have trouble sleeping at night. First night I had it, was like a dream, so comfy and cozy, I love it. I saw in some other reviews people claim, the pillow does not smell strong enough.. I disagree, all you have to do, is crush the insert a little, through the lamb skin and the scent returns, quite strongly. It relaxed me and put me right to sleep. I also use it in the car, while traveling, the size is perfect for that. I absolutely love this pillow, even when my husband uses it, I can smell the lavender, laying next to him. Very pleasant, filled with real lavender, not some scented, fake stuff.

My son got this per my request for Christmas when he turned two. I wouldn't say that it really helps with his sleep, but we didn't have sleep problems in the first place. I'm a huge fan of Cloud B and this product is no exception. He still uses it and I even surface washed it yesterday with it still looking new after 7 months. I love the way he smells like lavender when he wakes in the morning!

I first saw this pillow in a gift shop on a trip to the zoo and liked it because of it's size. My husband had bought a pillow pet, but it was just too large for a 19 month old. The first time she layed down with the cloud b pillow for a nap she slept for 2 hours, we usually only get 1 hour. We just thought, well she's tired, we had a busy day. I joked with husband that it had to be the pillow. First night, slept all night, I joked with my husband again, "It has to be the pillow" This is the fourth night with the pillow and I have been very pleasantly surprized. We are usually awakened at 1 am and/or 5 am by a fussy baby, but the last few nights with this pillow, she has actually stayed asleep till 730 or 830 in the morning. She did wake up twice around 10 or 11 pm, but was not fussy and went back to sleep very, very quickly. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I wouldn't trade this pillow. The nights before this pillow arrived she fussed and didn't want to go to sleep, and has always hated being in her bed. Last night, with the pillow, she went to bed calmly and actually layed herself down and went to sleep. Such a change for the better. I need one for myself because I keep waking up at 5 am wondering if she's okay because she has been too quiet. :) Love it!

This is a good tool. Something that may not get used often, but was certainly worth having. It does fit a 2000 Dodge Durango with 4.7L.

Much heavier tool than you would think from the picture, I knocked off one star because it's made in China(seems expensive when you factor that in). Also, the rubber handle tends to slip off the tool when applying force to it, could have been glued on or something better.

This wrench seemed overpriced to me (I am used to Harbor Freight prices) but it does make the job SO much easier. If you take into account your time and frustration level when trying to come up with some other way to keep the pulley from moving (especially when initially loosening the fan) it pays for itself. This tool is solidly built and the rubber grip feels like it's well attached.

The wrench supports two different hole patterns. One side has three ~7/32" pins (with ~2 1/2" and ~1 3/4" spacing) that fit the original Dodge/Mopar water pump perfectly, and the other side has two ~9/32" pins with ~3" spacing that fit the replacement water pump (a DNJ WP1130, using adjacent holes) perfectly as well.

If you've been putting off replacing the water pump because you don't want to deal with getting the fan off, this is the tool to get!

I bought this on the recommendation of America's Test Kitchen, as I am wont to do, and it has not disappointed. Contrasted with our previous several blenders, this is superb! Most importantly is the job it does of blending, and it is a marvel of consistency. A very close second is the ease of cleanup, and the whole thing goes right in the dishwasher, and I don't have to mess with taking the base apart and losing the rubber seal, because there is no removable base and there is no rubber seal to worry about. The stand is heavy and solid, the whole thing is a beast, so nice!

I have been using this blender for 1.5 years after my last one burned out and have loved every minute of it. I pretty much use it to make protein drinks / smoothies about 3-4 times a week. The motor is powerful and the settings are great. It is loud but then again we're talking about a blender! Primarily I wanted something that would last for years.

This morning I was using the blender to make one of my smoothies that is exactly like all the others I have made in the past. The unit was blending away and then all of sudden it made a horrible screeching noise and the pitcher hopped out of the base and the unit started spewing rubber and started smoking from the coupling on the base unit. I emptied the pitcher and the grinder at the bottom of the pitcher had discharged the seal into the pitcher and the grinder unit was cock-eyed. The coupling on the base had also been ground down so it is unusable.

I just got off the phone with KitchenAid and they gave the usual response - sorry, it's past the 1 year warranty, we can't do anything for you. Once again I am off to order replacement parts from repairclinic.com to repair this unit that I thought would have lasted more than 1.5 years.

[Update - 11/7/11} - After replacing both the carafe (aka pitcher) and the coupling (not easy at all - see the following YouTube Video I posted on doing this: [...]) I will humbly admit that it might have been operator error that caused the pitcher to jump off the base. I was not holding down the pitcher when it was blending and something may have gotten into the grinder that caused it to hop off the base. Lesson: hold down the pitcher while blending.


KitchenAid KSB465ER Review by P. SMITH

I've had this blender about two weeks now and I don't like it. I decided to buy a KitchdnAid instead of an Osterizer. I've had three Osterizer blenders. They are EXCELLENT blenders, but they don't last over a year; the motor konks out, but it's the only blender I've ever had that really chops ice until there's no ice left.

The KitchenAid blender doesn't have a "soft start" button, as the instructions say. I've tried every way I know to try to get it to start slower, so my food in the blender doesn't immediately fly up to the top and coat the inside of the lid, which has to be scraped to get the food off. Also, when the Chop Ice button is pressed, it pauses and starts, pauses and starts, hardly chopping the ice at all. I must use the Liquify button to get the ice decently chopped and then it's not chopped completely. I'll use this blender until this motor konks out and then I guess I'll have to go back to the Osterizer. Even though it only lasts approximately one year, at least it starts slow when you want it to, and really chops ice and everything else, too. I wouldn't recommend this blender; it's too frustrating to use it.

Item works well to divert water and regulate pressure but each "stop" does not shut off water 100%. Will slow it to a drizzle but if your looking for a positive shutoff valve this won't suit your needs.

The outlet ports of this diverter are reduced to 0.156 inches in diameter, which severely restricts water flow at normal water pressure (45 psi). I would estimate that this diverter will deliver no more than 0.7 GPM through each port.
If you can live with that sort of flow rate then this diverter is for you, because it is well constructed. If you cant which is my case its a complete waste of money.

I liked the looks of this valve but the holes where the water comes out are way too small and decreased the water pressure and flow too much.
The bigger issue is that the sliding valves did not fully shut off and when opened, they automatically closed half way due to the water pressure. Makes me wonder if the mfg even tested this product. I sent it back.

These lanterns are a commodity in my book. The reason for that is, I practice being ready for any kind of disaster. I have an active B.O.B. which is short for Bug Out Bag. I have these lanterns in it and for good reason. These compliment a solar powered system that I have for emergencies. A little over a week ago, there were a series of Earthquakes that hit the US. About 10 in Colorado and one on the East coast that was felt over a wide area from Virginia (Epicenter) to New York to Indiana. I bring my BOB to work with me everyday in case of emergencies such as earthquakes.

Now, I am living in West Virginia about 200 miles from the epicenter of last weeks Virginia quake. It was apparently powerful that the power in our building went out and the emergency lights failed. Luckily I had these bad boys to guide the way. Managers, co-workers and other employees were following ME out of the building all led by these lanterns. I handed out 2 of them to other employees and got them back when we all got outside. These are great little guys to have as they may save your life (and others) someday.

They didn't show a size to the lanterns in the 3-pack, so thinking they would be smaller than the Dorcy individual lantern (Dorcy 41-1017), I ordered one single lantern (for $11) and one 3-pack.

I love the lanterns but they are ALL the same size, so I wasted my money buying the single one. The 3-pack is a much better deal and then you have several to brighten up an area or room. They say they are garden lanterns, but work just great for a power outage!

The ones that arrived were 4 AA battery operated not AAA as advertised. I was expecting brigher light but acceptable. Since I tear them apart for another use they are perfect for me. I really wouldn't want these for "emergency" use.

I needed a computer fast and I saw this one at an awesome price so I bought it. So far so very, very good! This thing replaced my 2003 Hp and man is it fast! The Aspire has tons of usb ports and the whole thing has been put together very neatly. The package arrived on time and in excellen condition. Set up was extremely simple too.

Purchased the Acer about 3 weeks ago for a small business application. So far its great. Was amazed when I downloaded MSOffice 10 Pro at how fast it it installed. I like the USB connections on the top of the machine. No more fumbling around the bottom as with my Dell. Power button is also conveniently placed along with DVD drawer controls. It was packaged well and came in a reasonable time frame from Amazon. Thus far I am pleased with this purchase. Feature wise very hard to beat for $500!

First off - I ordered this on Monday afternoon - and it was delivered Tuesday morning!!

So far, after setting it up and burning the recovery discs, everything is working smoothly. I like Windows 7 - loading my enormous graphics packages was a snap.

Random thoughts: the box is HUGE - but I have plenty of space on my desk - and I've heard the larger boxes are less likely to overheat. It's probably as quiet (or noisy) as my old Compaq desk computer and my former laptops. The "on" and DVR buttons are large and easy to find.

Something new: the keyboard has "floating" keys. So far, very easy to type on - I'm just concerned how much dust and dog hair will build up under the keys? On the other hand, maybe this style of keyboard will be easier to keep clean? Time will tell.

There's a flat tray on top of the box, that's supposed to hold your "media" things as you download them; and there's 4 USB ports, plus a mic and speaker connection. This is probably really cool and a smart thing to do - but since I'm hardly a media whiz; I've put a piece of tape over these ports so they don't collect dust/dog hair. The only thing I download is photos - and the photo card slots are on the face of the box.

I'm REALLY happy with my purchase!!!

On edit - after 2 days of loading big graphics and mapping software programs: I LOVE this computer!! Have had no problems or glitches - Windows 7 makes everything nice and intuitive (and offers some cute features like the ability to plaster "yellow sticky notes" all over the desktop). I have always referred to myself as a "Speedbump on the Information Superhighway" - so for everything to have transferred, linked, moved...from my old computer to this new one without a single hiccup, really speaks volumes for how well-designed this is.

This lift chair was going to be a hopeful tool for a hip patient and does the job but leaves more than a little concern. There is absolutely no customer support from Drive Medical. We sent a few emails to them about problems with the charger and the fact that the displayed unit on amazon with the blue cushion is inaccurate and that the unit comes with a white cushion. It does lift a 180 pound person but makes clunking noises and will likely last for a shorter time than expected. We also filled out a questionaire from amazon on this unit and heard nothing from that either. We buy a ton of stuff from amazon but in the future will buy nothing from amazon sold by others. If you want customer support this is not your lift chair.

My dad turned 90 and was having a very hard time taking a bath. He never took showers in the past and he loves to soak in a tub. I didn't want him to give that up so this was the perfect solution. No special tools needed. The battery life is excellant and he is really happy that he can still soak in the tub. At first he was nervous, but there was nothing hard about it. It fit just fine in his very old original tub. (House built in 1969). We would definately recommend it for ease, price and function.

I ususlly plug in after every second use since it is no trouble to charge. I am inpressed with the way it is made and seems of sturdy construction. Would recomend it for anyone who is worried about getting in and out of a tub.
