Just 15 days after I can't return it, another one is broken!!! This is my second on AND my last one from Amazon. Both broke after less than two months of use. I am beyond livid. After the first one broke I thought it might be a fluke, after all it is just a lightbulb. The second one breaks....No way!! This is just a bad product!!! One star reating is too nice.

I replaced the bulb at about 18 months when the screen started getting dark with a bulb from the Samsung website. It went dead after about 90 days. Thinking it was a fluke bought another from Amazon for a faster delivery. About 60 dys later the bulb went dead again. $300 in bulbs in less than 6 months I don't think I will chance another. I will see if I have any recourse on the Samsung end.

It all started when my television would just shut off with no warning. You could turn it back on and it would work fine for a long while and then unexpectedly shut off again. After a month or two it just shut off and the lights on the front panel started blinking. I dreaded the idea of paying to have it repaired, but a read of the manual seemed to indicate the lamp just needed to be replaced. I found a replacement on Amazon and it arrived in a timely fashion. I was very pleased at how straight forward the replacement was. I was careful to follow the instructions in the manual (Be sure to wear gloves. Fingerprints and oil from your hands could cause the lamp to fail). It all went smoothly, and within minutes I was watching television again. It's been about a month since I installed it and have not had the slightest problem.
